Every child is different. Our sessions adapt to your child's interests and attention, while giving parents the tools to carry progress home.
Most of our interventions are carried out through play to maintain children's attention and make learning feel natural and fun-not like hard work.
We actively invite parents into sessions. You'll receive strategies and resources every week so you can support your child's progress at home between appointments.
Where appropriate, we follow the child's interests and lead. Children learn best when they feel in control-our sessions adapt to what motivates them most.
Therapy and assessment sessions can be carried out in your child's home. A quiet area is required for assessment. Online sessions are also available where appropriate.
We work closely with schools, sharing intervention plans and strategies so your child receives consistent support both at home and in the classroom.
We understand NHS wait times can stretch to 2 years. We bridge that gap-providing an initial therapy plan so your child can get started immediately.
From first contact to ongoing therapy-a simple, supportive process.
Share your child's name, age, and your concerns. We'll get back to you quickly to discuss next steps.
1.5-hour session-in your home or online. Case history with you, then a session with your child.
A detailed written report of your child's strengths and needs-ready to share with schools or use for further support.
Weekly sessions with an intervention plan, take-home activities, and regular updates on your child's progress.
Don't just take our word for it.
"We had a 7-year-old in our class who barely spoke during circle time. After just a few months working with Communication Ladder, she's confidently raising her hand and making friends. The strategies shared with us as teachers made all the difference."

"As a home-educating mum, I was nervous about finding the right support for my 4-year-old. The sessions fit perfectly around our schedule and I feel so involved-I know exactly what to practise at home. His vocabulary has genuinely exploded!"

"My 10-year-old struggled with being understood at secondary school. Communication Ladder gave him tools to slow down, structure his thoughts, and speak clearly. His confidence has soared-he even gave a talk in assembly last month!"
Tom M.

"As a SENCO, finding a therapist who truly collaborates with schools is rare. She joined our EHCP review, explained goals in plain language, and gave us visual supports we could use in the classroom immediately. Brilliant partnership."
Laura P.
SENCO · Child aged 6
"We home educate our autistic 8-year-old and needed flexible, neuroaffirming support. Every session is joyful and child-led. We've seen huge growth in how he requests things and handles transitions. I can't recommend this enough."
Aisha K.
Home-Ed Parent · Child aged 8
"Our 3-year-old was not talking at all and we were beside ourselves. Within weeks we had a clear plan and our daughter started signing and then babbling. She's now producing first words!"
